Three Evenings Ago We Stopped ... For Eggs But In Parking Lot Realized.....Our Funds Were At Home...

Three evenings ago...Sunday evening on our way home from a long day of many stops, errands and appointments...
So many stops that I was not able to write my usual journal that I write as we travel.

Typically I make note of time we leave and odometer reading as we leave home, when we fill our gasoline tank, and make each significant stop for what ever reason including any details of observation that we consider spiritually significant...beautiful or the opposite extreme something out of the normal every day occurrences that is either remarkably refreshing or just unbelievably shocking.

I usually document such journal with photographs of whatever we observe, the sweet, the kind as well as the shocking ugly.

Had been out most of the day; we started with holy Mass at my childhood school church of Saint Mathias and celebrated with the community there honoring the Catholic graduates of all schools in the area with a lunch that was served in "The Big Room" as I called it when I was a Kindergarten & First Grade student there.

We had a tremendous amount of fun, getting to hear the youth talk about their ambitions, met several new people and heard many stories from some willing to share.

I even after lunch as I crocheted around lace intended as a shall for Holy Communion received an honor from young girls who asked me "What are you knitting?"

I received the opportunity to talk to them about crocheting and wearing head coverings for Holy Mass.

We met several new people who we hope we hear from having given them my card and or William's.

We had originally hoped to remain south of Lake to visit Holy Name for a second Sunday Holy Mass because we had not been to Holy Mass there since returning to Louisiana and it once was our home parish...and Fr Eddie, our friend and pastor pre-Katrina was assigned or scheduled for that Mass.

But the day was hot and William tired...we began across the Lake Pontchartrain and though I wanted to go back to Holy Name after so many years...we saw how it was good we did not remain that day...

The sky opened after we were on the 25 mile bridge enjoying the quiet calm of the lake till then.
It was once back on the Northshore that we began making all of our stops non-stop...

William actually found his rain check for the large package of double roll toilet paper tissue from when K-Mart ran out on their first day of their sale weeks before.

Just as waiting to be given the rain check was a chore dealing with all of the hostile, jealous rude cashier girls...particularly the ones with tattoo's.

They hope that with their childhood antics and not simply doing their job when you first approach and make your request...they hope with all their hoopla pretending to be busy with something else that must be done first....that you will be discouraged and leave without what you came for.

The loneliness suffered all over in every city and town causes jealousy that my William & I do all things together...we go to Holy Mass, to Bible Study Classes....to Prayer Groups and Lunch Programs...walking in neighborhoods or sitting on benches in the park taking turns reading either scripture or from books on MIRACLES to each other written by many different authors.

This breeds jealousy & hate within many towards us who could choose to do the same with their own wives or sweet hearts.

All want God's best but few willing to purposely choose the same that we choose but then are angry at us for having chosen that which we chose...that they could choose too...

But to do so means they have to walk away from something they will not let go...often it is a false responsibility they have created for years and they do not want any one to find out that all this time they have hidden behind false games...they think that that would be dishonoring themselves.

So we waited out again the rararaw...yaya...to purchase out large Double Roll T-Paper pack then back on the road, made several other stops not anxious to return to the socially rough tough and HOT...VERY HOT Ponchatoula. that we call home for now....rents are never permanent...but just for a season.

We never no how long or short each season shall be...we simply embrace what befalls us with Faith and a kind embrace with a smile on our face.

Some here may take this word "embrace" to expect me to hug them physically with my arms...NO!

My husband is the only one whose hand I hold or hug or who holds me...I mean I embrace life with kindness...weirdly it is this kindness that makes every one's backs go up in hostile jealousy...they want me to notice them...

But I and my husband only respond to those who speak plainly, greet us appropriately....we never acknowledge any one's game playing.

So we stopped several places along our way including the Goodwill in Mandeville where we found & bought a much needed pair of more comfortable chairs.

Having been sitting in the same canvas camp chairs since shaking Carolina dust at the end of February 2012...these old canvas chairs have been busting for quite some time.

We enjoyed the slow way home not the speeding Interstate, but stlll William pulled over several to many times to let HELL moving drivers FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY by to their own deaths.

"See your death in the newspaper in the morn..." and we simply let not their hurry break our tranquil heart....the peace found in Jesus that we linger in near HIS waters.

And before we reached home we stopped at Bohnings for a dozen eggs to find the cash we had carried we had either given at church or spent through the day....William says...my checkbooks...I must have left them....I'll have to go home & come back out...

I insisted no God is on time and is efficient.  We will prayerfully seek & find it here...in our vehicle these things need sorting anyway and believe God for there to be a One Day Sale on eggs!

So yes not only did both William & I find a quarter here, a dime in different coat pockets and flip compartments on doors and in the back of our Bloody RED Montana van...WE found other items we had mis-placed too...

All because I refused to waste the time and gasoline for him to go home & return based on the fact that God is efficient and forgets not any detail...we choose to seek and find what be Faith we knew HE would give...

God is angered by waste of any kind any size small or large....for when all the tiny fragments are gathered multitudes can be fed!

Amen

WHEN MOST OF US PURCHASE SOMETHING>> AND IT DOES NOT WORK OUT>>>>

Many of us when we purchase something that does not work out for whatever reason...

Get something home that you are not allowed to preview and try on before purchase>>>

Say underwear!! Now days because everything is mass produced in sweat shops often by underage children who should be in school....

But whoever they are they are abused while they are working... pressed to produce more pieces in fewer minutes!

So, not only do we have to be concerned about washing well with bleach prior to wearing to prevent disease...

Many of these sweat shops are in places that clean safe drinking water does not even exist for all people!

But often, nothing is even sewn correctly!
I recently bought two packages of Fruit of the Loom cotton womens panties 14 pair and not even one was sewn correctly. One leg way too small and other leg hole way to large...

Impossible to even get onto one's body! PAINFUL if you manage to get them on!

My husband, thinking he would be a sweetie pie and noticed what I bought myself and the size...bought me more!!!

They too were not properly sewn! Over 20 pair and not one wearable!
I never in my life returned even brand new underwear...

And there have been many things one of us has purchased and was never used but tossed in corners and drawers!!

We have gone on a return spree!!

Most folks do most of their shopping on a regular basis in the same stores, even if not every time!!

So my husband and I have gone through our closets, drawers, shelves, underneath seats in cars, and under sofas etc...

Looking for anything we have purchased and never used.

Often the item or items were still in the original bag with the original receipt!

We then not making a special trip out just to return a $5.00 item or even something more expensive....

To conserve time and gasoline, we plan our returns on the way to other events, functions or required errands such as doctor or dental appointments.

He exchanged hinges, packages of electrical connectors etc... stuff he had bought because he thought he was going to need for this job or that...

But he either never did it... or a customer cancelled their order...
So he exchanges his stuff for bug bombs and garden sprays etc...

That he actually set off in our house our next outing! And he treated our grass and garden that very same day.... with a song in his heart and a smile on his face!!!
DRINK UP BABY!

For he knew it was like getting those things for free.. for he did not spend cash for anything!

Today we went to our storage area, on the way to post office, on the way to a late lunch early supper at the Kannapolis K&W where we always enjoy hot food, large portions at a very reasonable price.... and are served by friendly smiling gals that now feel like family!

And both my husband and I always eat well and the two of us together even with a tip get out for $12.00 or less!

When in the area stop in and see them all!!
You will be glad that you did!!
And you will look foward counting the days before you can fit in your schedule your next meal and visit there!!

We then meandered to the mall where I returned some damaged hair bow things and exchanged for a callender book!! 2010 will be here before you can spin around...

You won't remember where 2009 went! That callender book I found late this afternoon not a day too soon....

I have already written appointments and reminders in!

YOUR HARVEST and ours is often hidden among our fragments we allow to be wasted or burried somewhere... closet floors and backs of drawers often blocking them from opening!

From the mall where we found Unusually CROWDED due to hundreds of trick or treaters going from store to store...

We went to Wal-Mart where I returned two full packages of those unwearable underwear!!

I was given a gift card with $12.93 on it... Which I gave my husband to put toward our regular grocery shopping which he had done as I worked on getting my return accepted!!

$62.00+ in groceries - the $12.93 return gift card... Felt wonderful !!
Walking out and riding home with good fresh food we will actually eat...

WE CAN CHOOSE TO WASTE NO MORE!!!
I challenge you to get those bags of returns together...

You will feel wonderful turning what you cannot use into useful needed items and fun SUPRISES!

Click the comment button and let us know how you did on your return/ exchange sprees!! OOOOH WEEEEE!!

What DO YOU WASTE THE MOST OF??? SUGGESTIONS TO WASTE NOT & WANT NOT!!

WHEN Cleaning out your house... if instead of sweeping everything into trash...

Sort papers into piles for other uses!!

When I get stacks of different sized papers... I staple several together....

And place several of these stapled packets in a folder & hand write letters as my Billly drives us from here to there and every where.

I keep blank envelopes in the pocket of the door of our van at all times... because I like keeping in touch with both folks I know....

And sending cheery surprises to those I just Meet... http://MeetandGreetAlongEveryStreet.blogspot.com/

I write letters the length of the stapled paper packets that otherwise would have been thrown away... and would I have purchesed still more pads of paper to write the same missives we drop into the mail while out already... using NOT even a Drop more of Gasoline!!

NEXT TIME You are Looking to trow away what could be put to use... INSTEAD... Give away Joy... BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE ELSE!

And You Too Will Reap a Greater Harvest... Not Just of SonShineySmiles!!!

But you will become a Most Favorite Child!!! Sharing and not wearing Down, Building another... NOT Burrying HIM further into a shroud...

YOU CAN BE AN ESTHER or a JACOB TOO... By Being a Blessing to Another Every Day....

Blessings WILL ALWAYS CHASE YOU DOWN!!

Look at Fr Franks blog Link to his site below

Hi Friends!!
Fr Frank Pavone is always telling people both on his own show & when he is interviewed by others>>>
He encourages all Catholics and Christians to work the blogs and Facebooks etc for Life & get the Real Catholic view point out>>

Those who are prochoice use the internet better than we who have Faith he and ohers say>>>
http://www.priestsforlife.org/    You can go to this site and along the top under his picture and to the left a bit you will see "Fr Frank's Blog"  click on that phrase and you can read what he has there and what I placed and others and you can write your own views...

You can write your views on any of mine too>>>  I do not expect everyone to falin love in aggreement with everything I write>>>
I write in such a way to spark the desire even if its on impulse for people to interact!

Jesus will not come until the church is united without spot blemish or wrinkle & folks will not come together until they begin to interact>>>>  Speak their views, feelings an attitudes and listen to others!!!
Fr Frank has never himself responded to letters we wrote him about his ministry using full postage on their mailings instead of Non-Profit stamp!

His assistant Ray once called and once wrote justifying using it!  We perish for lack of knowledge>>  All of us including our Priests>>>  they are human too!!
Priests too GET Decieved by the Devil!!

I did not tell Fr Frank on his own blog that I typed my response on his between Slurpy clean out drinks>>>  for tommorows you know what from both ends!!  YUM YUM YUM FUN>>>

REMEMBER THAT YOU & I ARE ONLY DUST... AND TO DUST WE ALL SHALL RETURN!

Imagine You and I were nothing more than dirt before GOd took dirt and spat into it, formed us with HIS almighty hands and beathed HIS Spirit into us!

In Jerrimiah, Jerriamiah was always seeing the yonder future realities before they came to be!

He always could see the bud before it began to bloom in a distant winter, from his reality...
The winter he was currently in!

Likewise You and I are called to learn and build off what our spirits can percieve from our past and that of the prophets whom
GOD required to write & record for all generations.... US!

If GOD Created you & me from only dust & the air HE breathes...

Who are you or I to discard or waste even the tiniest fragments.

Whether fragments of food, fruit juice, or water;
Paper or cardboard, someone you know may never have something to write on!
Never able to write the Words "Thank You Lord.. I Love You"
Because no one bothered to save for him what they daily discard.
Even a very small piece of fabric can be used by a skilled seamstress to patch holes, or even design apliques with.

And more easily and passively wasted, misused, money which unfortunately is the only motivator for many!

Jesus when HE walked and taught on this planet,
Knew first JUST HOW Powerful for both GOOD & Evil money was and always would be!

HE made it the sower' responsibility to research whether or not his soil choice was good & healthy to prosper...

Or rocky rollin ..... Are decietful folks skimming or uncaringly mispending. Purchasing from companies owned by a friend of a friend or realitive... of someone elses kin???

HUMMMM...
Seen it before... Hope not again!

EstherStephanada Can stamp out & Stomp out waste and so Can YOU!
